Heya! Here is some info about me:)

Position

I am the Lead Research Scientist for the BCI4Kids program, and help oversee the various research activities our program is pursuing.

Background & Interests

I got my BSc. in Mathematics from the University of Wyoming (2013), and my PhD. in Digital Signal Processing from the University of Edinburgh (2019). I’ve spent more than 10 years working in research in developmental neuroscience from basic research into cell development in a wet-lab, to animal models & MRI, to clinical studies involving patients. I’ve worked across many different projects, and have experience in a variety of topics.

I’m passionate about the intersection of neurotechnologies with developmental neuroscience & pediatrics, particularly from gaming and UX perspectives. I enjoy designing and building new applications, and thinking about how design can affect experience.
